Rangeland Drill Seeding
Rangeland drill seeding, is a cultural tool utilized in an Integrated Management Program for improving, developing, or restoring rangeland and pasture plant communities.
In an effort to provide landowners with quality service backed by modern science and proven methods, Range Rescue LLC, will consult with NRCS or University County Extension agents to formulate a plan of action on all potential private contracts. We recommend the landowner be involved in the consultation process.

Range Rescue utilizes the mechanical control of brush mowing as part of an Integrated Management Program.

Mechanical Mastication
Piñon and juniper encroachment and infilling can alter ecosystem processes and decrease resilience and resistance in sagebrush grasslands. Land managers employ a variety of techniques to eliminate these trees and mitigate their negative effects. Mechanical mastication or shredding is an increasingly popular method of removing these trees. Land managers mechanically masticate trees and brush to help restore plant community composition and reduce the potential for high-intensity crown fires.
