Beverly has been connected to agriculture her entire life having been born and raised on a cattle ranch in the mountains of Colorado. She is the former owner/operator of her own ranch in Southeastern Wyoming. After dispersing her ranch, she began her career as a land management professional with the Colorado State Land Board serving as the Northwest District Manager for ten years. After ten years of being a District Manager, she was offered and accepted the Field Operations Manager position working from the state office in Denver where she supervised all seven District Offices across Colorado.
While at the Colorado State Land Board, Beverly worked with the Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Forest Service, and other federal and state agencies and private landowners in completing over $200,000,000 in land exchanges, acquisitions, and disposals. One of these projects involved the Colorado State Land Board, the Bureau of Land Management and 52 private landowners.
After retiring from the Colorado State Land Board, Beverly was one of the foundering members of Land Rights Solutions, LLC. Land Rights Solutions works with farmers, ranchers, and landowners to help resolve issues with state and federal leases and permits, water rights management and issues, land exchanges and acquisitions, conservation easements, title issues, mineral rights management issues, and wildlife and endangered species management and issues. Beverly was the recipient of the Public Service Award from the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association in 2013 and continues to be an active lifetime member of that organization.
Beverly and Land Rights Solutions are excited to be a part of the Nevada Checkerboard Challenge Land Exchange and she looks forward to using her professional contacts and extensive experience in completing federal land exchanges to make this project a success.
